Description
I AM GROOT! ... only now very pocket-sized. I really enjoyed Guardians of the Galaxy and had to make a Groot. I previously made one for my lady and then I made another as a birthday gift and so... technically this is like the third Groot I've made but moving on. Sculpey clay with a tinfoil base, molded his "bark" first and then attached it to his body. Baked and then painted with acrylics, finished he stands at 5.5" and sorry - Rocket not included.
And look! I even used a fancy filter thing on the picture! Which was actually an accident but I kind of dig it. As I work on my improving my sculpting skills, I'm trying to also to somewhat improve my photography skills. I have had so many sculptures over the years that I WISH SO MUCH I had decent pics of. Or at least, you know, ones that didn't have my fridge in the background.
